​

　中村泰三郎（1912～2003年）は、戸山流抜刀術​を学び中村流抜刀術を創始し、現代日本の抜刀術の第一人者となりました。古坂勝堂（1947年～）は中村泰三郎から直接引き継いだ抜刀術を新たに工夫し、合理的な動きの中で斬る真勝流を創設し(2000年）、宗家となりました。以後現在に至るまで多くの門下生を育てています。奈良と神戸に2つの道場があります。

 Taizaburo Nakamura (1912~2003) studied Toyama-ryu Battojutsu and later founded Nakamura-ryu Battojutsu, becoming the headmaster of modern Japanese Battojutsu. Shoudo Furusaka (1947~) inherited Battojutsu directly from Taizaburo Nakamura and further developed it into a new style, Shinshou-ryu, which emphasizes cutting in logical motion in 2000. He became the headmaster of this style and has since trained many students up to the present day.　We have two dojos(material arts studio) : the Nara Dojo and the Kobe Dojo.

活動　Activities

•橿原神宮で毎年春（4月3日）に催される神武天皇祭にて奉納演武を行っています。​

•毎年6月に泉北空手道大会にて演武を行っています。

•年2回春と秋に真勝流抜刀道大会川崎杯を開催し、日頃の鍛錬の成果を競っています。

We perform dedicatory Battojutsu(swords) demonstrations  at the Emperor Jimmu Festival, which is held every spring (on April 3rd) at Kashihara Shrine.

​

We perform Battojutsu demonstrations every June at the Senboku Karate Championship.

We hold the Shinshō-ryū Battōdō Kawasakihai Tournament Cup, where participants compete to showcase the results of our daily training twice a year, in spring and autumn.
